I created "Breaking Free" when I was in my 50's.  In life there are many things that grow us in bondage and keep us from becoming all that God has for us. Among these "road blocks" are labels or inadequacies we have been told about who we are; lies that we have believed about ourselves, failures we have experienced, unforgiveness and bitterness and so many more. For me, there came a time when I had to examine those "road blocks" in my life and see who I am as a child of God. It was a process that brought me great freedom and joy. This sculpture is a tangible expression of that new realization.
